September 2008 – Each year, throughout the summer months, colleges and universities prepare for students to return to campus. Massaro Corporation has once again been part of that preparation by successfully performing general construction services on 11 different campuses in Western Pennsylvania and Ohio:

  2. Duquesne University
  3. Franciscan University
  4. Indiana University of Pennsylvania
  5. La Roche College
  6. Point Park University
  7. Saint Vincent College
  8. Seton Hill University
  9. University of Pittsburgh
  10. University of Pittsburgh Bradford
  11. Washington & Jefferson College

Massaro was chosen by the higher education community to build new student housing projects, theaters and conference facilities; renovate classrooms, administrative offices and science labs; and to construct new food courts, recreation centers and outdoor patios.

Although 20 of the 35 different higher education projects were completed in August, 2008, Massaro continues to perform construction on most of the campuses. Some of the larger ongoing projects include the student housing project at Indiana University of Pennsylvania; student housing and the theater/arts building at Allegheny College; renovations at the University of Pittsburgh; the theater/arts building at Seton Hill; and renovations at Point Park.
