Jefferson Regional Medical Center Breaks Ground

November 2010 – On October 20, 2010, Jefferson Regional Medical Center broke ground on a 31,000 square foot renovation and addition. The project, designed by WTW Architects, is scheduled to begin construction on November 15, 2010 and will be finished in the early fall of 2012. The project will include the renovation of existing operating rooms in the hospital and the addition of six state-of-the-art operating rooms.

The project requires careful planning as the work will be carried out in a fully occupied facility. Additionally, the hospital’s loading dock will be unavailable to the hospital during the renovation which will create some rerouting challenges for the Massaro team. Massaro was chosen in part because of past success in managing similar challenges as well as our commitment to doing everything necessary to meet client needs throughout the duration of the project.
