March 2009- From more than 2,500 nominated projects, the Fred M. Rogers Center at St. Vincent College has been selected as a Green Building of America Award winner and will be featured in the upcoming special Real Estate & Construction Review - Midwest Green Success Story edition. Each Green Building of America Success Story project is highlighted in a case study that intertwines the words of the project’s owner/developer, consultants, architects and contractors to explain how the teams worked together to design and build one of the region’s most important, innovative or unique new or renovated sustainable facilities.

Additionally, The Fred M. Rogers Center was also awarded the 2008 MBA Building Excellence Award for projects over $10,000,000. The annual Evening of Excellence award event was held at Heinz Field and attended by over 500 Pittsburgh professionals. The Construction Industry Evening of Excellence is about uniting the firms and individuals that are transforming our region. The Building Excellence Awards are the most prestigious honor and finest testimonial to quality recognized in Western Pennsylvania’s Construction Industry.
